Miller Johnson hosts its annual Employment Law Seminar each October in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. With close to 600 attendees, the standard spiral bound seminar booklet produced was more than 110,000 pages for the entire print project. When complete, each booklet was close to an inch and a half thick. Realizing the amount of time and paper these booklets were consuming, Miller Johnson chose Vision Communications as its vendor for the 256MB, USB flip-type flash drive with a nylon key ring as a replacement for its printed materials.  

The flash drive contains a user-friendly menu that has been designed by Vision Communications. The look is consistent with Miller Johnson’s web site and is easy to navigate. It includes a drop down menu for seminar sessions, presenter biographies, and a link to millerjohnson.com. All files on the flash drive are saved in .PDF format for easy access. Not only has switching to the flash drives lowered Miller Johnson’s overall material cost, these flash drives will give seminar attendees the ability to store and transport their own data well after the seminar is over since they are rewritable.

The binders were extremely bulky and heavy, which made it difficult for attendees to carry along with all the other materials we hand out at the seminar.
